Help! I need a man – by Aderonke Taiwo

I had a first read of “Help! I need man” a few months ago from the author, a wonderful friend, and having gone back to read it again, I am still captivated by the simplicity of the story, the truthfulness of the main character and the lessons to be learnt from her experiences.

The book opened with a wife awaiting the homecoming of her husband from speaking engagements in the US. It depicts a loving family, but the author made us to realise that it was not always so.

That ushered us into one of the most interesting stories you’ll read about the plight of a young single Christian lady; the pressures of finding a man, the doubts, the tears, the openness and the victories.

If you are wondering how to cope with being single, especially as a lady, then “Help! I need a man” is a great read.

Apart from the story being a page turner, the ‘golden nuggets’ at the end of every chapter taught valuable lessons to any single person either in a relationship or about to go into a relationship.
